As far as my opinion goes, the jury is still out on Dr. Alonso, but I sure hope he sticks around to see what he can accomplish here.

NO! Especially on top of the rumor floating around about Sharfstein being the next FDA Commissioner! We need this talent here more than the feds do.
He is commited to BCPSS. Rumors are funny.
I don't know, man. Obama - Chicago/DC; Alonso - New York/Baltimore. Michelle Rhee would be more likely. I love rumors like this!
